Telegraph this morning reporting, and it seems to be the Government official mouthpiece these days, that this “over 50s shielding” has been dropped as an idea after a “backlash from ministers“

I said the other day that someone in government would have leaked this to the press to gauge public reaction. Did the government seriously expect people to be on board with this mad idea if your name wasn't Karen?
