Boris' Rs

Nice graphs though... Serious graphs.
Like the terror alert level but using R which we don't and can't really know unless we have accurate testing ... Brilliant.

Go back to work if you can't work from home does that apply to hairdressers? Or just people working in factories? ***** ***** *****

Ah well that’s him done till June I guess
I liked the bit where he said we’re doing hundreds of thousands of tests now, even though the number has gone down the last week

🐔

That was bad. I have no idea what is now allowed and what isn't. What did amaze me is the lack of measuring.

Today we relax a, June we relax b and c, july we open some restaurants. Where is the mertics behind these. It seems like a suck it and see approach.

I truly fear for us all. We will all be touched by this before it is over.

9.5 minutes of waffle with one crucial instruction slipped in. Millions will now have to go back to work. I don't believe for one second that workplaces will or can be safe but employers will put up a facade so no employees will have a leg to stand on if they express concerns. It's going to get nasty methinks.

Was there any need for this address?

People are more confused what they can and can’t do and Boris acknowledged that things would be made more clear tomorrow.

Why didn’t he address parliament first and then the people.

He’s a F***ing coward is what he is. Ambiguity, lack of direction, but worst complete laziness.

we have hardly heard from our elected leader during the most difficult period of modern times. Yet he feels we deserve ten minutes of his time, no chance to clarify what he means and no questions from the press.

This approach is staggering in its contempt for the public.

Return to work? But no schools, so what do we do with children. Surely work places need measures to be put in place, but no opportunity or guidance.

It’s pathetic, but I would expect nothing less to be honest.

And Starmer has raised a very valid point: are 10's of thousands of people supposed to suddenly be going to work in about 12 hours from now that half an hour ago wouldn't have been? Is that really any sort of plan? Are those places of work geared up to maintain social distancing? Are those workers comfortable with their own safety and wellbeing to do so?

if you cant work from home go to work tomorrow and dont use public transport, oh and in 3 weeks time we might start testing those coming into the country.
a F***ing shambles

🤣

What if you're a tennis instructor? Someone play out for me what his asinine words meant for a tennis instructor.

Or a driving instructor, or a piano instructor or a language tutor, or a... You get the picture... It was a bit of Johnson waffle, no more, really!
