He will have to sack him or risk it being dragged up every five minutes by opposition parties saying it is a sign of weak leadership, it’s not good, Cummings has let the party down. He should resign really.Blatant flouting of the rules, he'd be stupid not to sack him
I'd also want to see him fined aswellHe will have to sack him or risk it being dragged up every five minutes by opposition parties saying it is a sign of weak leadership, it’s not good, Cummings has let the party down. He should resign really.
That last sentence is exactly what this story is really all about. Prepare for a leader who is even nastier but not lazy with it, which is the only thing saving us all right now. He'll need to resign willingly for this to go away. But Boris Johnson is nothing without Cummings and as much of a turd the man is, he is very good at what he does.
Brexit and the current majority wouldnt have happened without him and Mr Johnson will not be able to a avoid being torn apart from all sides.
Gove will be licking his fangs right now.
I imagine that Mr Cummings has a few little stories up his sleave to ensure that nothing is done that doesnt benifit Mr Cummings.
I’m not too sure about that. He has one of those roles where he appears to be taking a lot of credit for any party success but the front line politicians like a Hancock, Raab, Rishi and Johnson himself are out there taking the flak for anything that goes wrong.exactly- I posted this on the other thread
“ He’s going nowhere ( sadly) this is the man who won the brexit vote, the man who masterminded a campaign that gave the tories one of their biggest post war election majority’s, and let not forget not only does he know where the bodies are buried he helped dig the graves.”
Could you imagine him as being out there as a critic of the govt, that’s why.I’m not too sure about that. He has one of those roles where he appears to be taking a lot of credit for any party success but the front line politicians like a Hancock, Raab, Rishi and Johnson himself are out there taking the flak for anything that goes wrong.
There has been a lot wrong with the coronavirus response from the government, why should Cummings be immune from any fall out from that? The election has been and gone, the approach adopted to win it is unlikely to work again in 4 years time when Brexit is a distant memory, I see no reason why he is untouchable.
There are quite a few - how about Patel for starters?I can only think of one person more vile that Cummings. And it’s Gove
