I know we are going through hard times compared to the glory days of the Carling Cup win and our European adventures, but spare a thought for our opponents in the final....Bolton are 4th bottom of Division Two with no points (and no goals) to their name after the opening two games of the season. Sad times for the club that was my "second favourite" when I was a kid (Neil Whatmore, Wille Morgan, Sam Allerdyce etc).

Sad Indeed for the club and fans, I appreciate their troubles go back a while now, but unfortunately I think the longer fans are away from grounds with this virus around, others will end up in serious trouble too all throughout the ladder from championship downwards. Lots of sporting clubs/businesses as well as traditional businesses will be frightened for their futures. :(

A club I always quite liked. Love the old pictures of Burnden Park with the steam train looking as though it’s travelling on top of the stand. The other pictures of that ugly supermarket cutting the stand in half are really upsetting. Can’t imagine how annoyed their fans must have been. If these clubs go football will never be the same again.
sickens me to see what Bale is being paid when you consider clubs are potentially going to the wall and making staff redundant. Football needs to change. Sky tv are not solely to blame but a big part of the problem.

Time for those such as Bale to step in?
