Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock has revealed he tried to sign Boli Bolingoli on loan shortly before his Spanish misadventure.
The veteran manager admits he's now thrilled he didn't manage to get the Celtic bad boy for the season after he broke quarantine rules and caused two Celtic games to be postponed.
He told talkSPORT: "I rang Celtic last week to try and get Bolingoli on loan, good job we didn’t get him."
And when asked if he would go back in for him now, he replied: "No I don't think so."
And he revealed he'll be telling his own stars they need to take personal responsibility.
Warnock added: "I would have a chat with the lads, like I have anyhow, and just say 'you've got a responsibility at the club, you represent the club but you also represent your family'.
