Boat Story, which is on BBC 1 tonight, was partly filmed in Redcar and the Redcar Blast Furnace can be seen in the background of the film.

During filming, I had walked from the South Gare to Redcar with my son's dog and was unsure what was going on. I had the dog off the lead walking at my heels and when we got close to the set he took off and got amongst the actors, film crew, etc. and peed up the side of the boat. ;)

Somehow, I don't think that part will have made the final cut. 🤣🤣🤣

Edit: Forgot the link.

You never know, what's the dog's name? I'll look out for 'Dog Peeing' in the credits.

Interesting drama.

The boat on the beach is in virtually the same place that a boat was washed up in the mid 70s on Redcar beach. Art imitating life….

I turned it off when the captive had his tongue 'seen to' by the tailor

Not interested in gruesome violence how people see that as 'entertainment' is beyond me

Am I a bad person for actually enjoying it?

Probably been made immune by The Boys and Gen V.

The only really unbelievable element for me was the actual number of dead police officers in the station. Didn’t think any force had that many in one place at one time.
