On sale next Tuesday at 3pm for 140+ Priority points.

1,800 allocation.

  • Adult: £29
  • Over 65: £25
  • Aged 18 - 21: £25
  • Under 18: £13
  • Under 12: £9
Can see these selling out instantly.

Surprised the priority points weren't at 160+ to start with.

140 points is a very low starting point.

Again I don’t see the point of the priority points system if they’re not going to use them.

It's a strange one because this will probably be one of the higher demands of the season.

If you're not using the higher starting point for this, when are you going to?

I think I'll try and get to this one.

It says initial allocation but we don’t know what the full allocation will be, will the police stop us getting the full 3,000?

140 point starting point is criminally underestimating the initial surge for this fixture with only 1,800 tickets, didn’t we take that many to Stoke last night?

This is Blackpool 3pm on a Saturday

MFC coach travel prices ain’t too bad for this one I might just go on that, to be honest

What is he point in having a points system if you start a game like this at 140 - even if it is an initial allocation we are not going to be allocated the 6-7000 we we would sell.

Thought this would have started about 180

We sold 3300 last season but the way the tickets shifted we probably could have sold 5000 for a night match. Derby were were given 4400 when they played there towards the end of the season so hopefully we can get as many.

They should be putting the points at the highest number that has the allocation in, which means everyone on the first sale is guranteed a ticket if they want one, then what ever is left move the points down. It’s not hard, it’s just laziness from the club.

This is exactly why I opposed a points system, because I didn’t trust them to implement it with any kind of competence.

Gutted with the points. Last night was first game I haven’t been to since early 2019 and now I’m flapping if I’ll get a ticket. Seems strange

And the best bit is the 1800 will sell out on the Tuesday but ticket staff will have gone home so they won’t have the next batch on until Wednesday. It’ll be a free for all

Not sure what is more ridiculous the allocation or the points starting point.
Going to be a lot of frustrated loyal fans who miss out due to the inevitable ticket site fiasco.
Crackers.

I could perhaps understand if they had set the points at 180 for the initial 1800.
That would have some logic.

Exactly.

Say we eventually get 3,000 tickets.

How many season ticket holders do we have with 2+ years in? I’d say at least four times that amount.

Yes not all of those people will want to go, but I bet there’s a lot of people who aren’t season card holders begging and borrowing tickets for this.

I’ve had 2 texts since the announcement asking if I’m going, I am and they can get lost. But demand is going to outstrip supply for this one, to set it at 140 points is an insult to the people who go home and away.
