I haven't made anything up. Their manager has said a virus was affecting them last weekend but now are all ok. I just thought it was funny, given our history.

They had a lot of players ill. Their match against Portsmouth which was supposed to be on Saturday was called off, at the same time they acknowledged a lot of players would have been unfit.
That's it. Nothing made up.

Was that 89-90 and the rearranged game Big Al got a hat trick? I did exactly the same and only found out the game was off as we literally rolled up at Ewood Park. It was definitely late 80’s but can’t remember exactly when.
