Birmingham City

I saw their fans already on about Clayton "He's dropping too deep" .... "he needs to pass forward"

I was thinking... yeah heard it all before :oops:

I would have expected a point or 2 more for them.

They have had some tough games: Brentford, Swansea, Norwich, Stoke.

Really early days yet. I don't think he will be in the running for playoffs.

Lets not forget that if last season was 2 games longer Birmingham's form was taking them down- they were quite awful.

He has steadied them.

Their only win was against the run of play, according to the report I read. Karanka's trying to drill the defensive mindset into them, building up the defend from the front mentality.

Totally dominated by Norwich and by Sheff Wed. I remember looking at the stats at half time, Brum had two attempts by then, came out and had half a go after they'd go e behind.

Had Karanka's latter period at the Boro written all over it. We'll see how he goes, they were struggling at the end of last season so he has a job on his hands, similar to when he came to Boro.

Is juke on the wing? Surely not😂😂

I hope you jest in terms of the Stuani thing.

I have seen enough from Morsy to say he's a massive upgrade on Clayton and we should have signed him 2-3 years ago. I wonder if we even looked?

To be honest George could have done a job for us at LB or more so LCB in a 3. I'm suprised he didn't stick around.

Brum are pretty poor and that's before Karanka. He's not a miracle worker. He spent some money and had some big loans at Boro.

The 'Total BS' podcast interview with Higgy was really interesting and gave an insight into how AK was whilst he was one of his coaches. Fair to say he isn't a fan and it certainly explained a lot about how an apparently settled and winning set-up unravelled under him.

The more I learn about his tenure here the more I'm certain he'll never be back as manager.

Karanka is not a top manager, yes he is a top coach but no he is not a top manager and the two are very different.

As you simply can’t say he’s a top manager as it’s just not true look at us in the prem look at his spell at forest etc

Aitor's fitness coach Carlos Cachada was very muted with me once in David Lloyds - probably says a lot about Aitors Tenure and zero tolerance approach :p:cry::ROFLMAO:

.
I was reading that their fans were saying "of course we're defending better than last seaon, we have a back 10 every game"
