Big Problems with Anti-Social Campers

I certainly think it's wo
Have you been abroad recently? Apart from Switzerland, Scandanavia and tourist hotspots where they clean up, the whole world is a damn sight worse

And your point is?! You think we have to be the same? Why not be different and look after the damn place?

Point being that your use of 'This country' may imply that 'other countries' are different - and my point is, they're not.

In fact we're not too bad at all, and compared to most we do 'look after the damn place'. You'd be aware of that if you've done some travelling.

It’s not just litter.. what about dog poo? It’s literally everywhere when me and my children go out for a walk. A neighbour of ours never takes their dog out for a walk. instead they let them out of the house for 10 minutes at a time where no doubt they go sh1t where they want. I had a look online and couldn’t see anywhere you can report this sort of thing !

The only solution is to educate at least give people the chance to change, then you fine people for littering.

For places like McDonald's and KFC use the cctv to catch the people throwing litter out of their cars, its not hard to do.

The campsites need to take a large bond, if you going to be fined £200 then you might think twice about leaving your pitch a mess.

If people are behaving like children then thats how they've got to be treated.

These days parts of the Peak District are like a nightmarish combination of TdF stage, IoM TT race and Teesside Park car park on a busy day. I have no problem with visitor numbers increasing, I just wish more of them (it isn't everyone to be fair) would be a bit more considerate in their behaviour. I do however really resent people being generally able to park for free (and some people wherever they like:mad:) when I invariably have to shell out for parking when I go to any towns or cities.
That's a bit harsh on the TT. I go to most TTs and Classic TTs and there is little to no rubbish. Just spent the weekend at Oliver's Mount racing and no rubbish anywhere.

Yes you're right bear, I was slightly off-topic there.... what I was getting at were the number of cyclists, motor-cyclists and car drivers who visit who think the roads are for their personal use to ride/drive however they please (in fairness, I have to include some of the local youngsters driving tractors). A lack of consideration for others. Just like the litter problem.

It's a national disease and it's symptomatic of the 'I couldn't give a *****' brigade.
I’m tempted to b***r off like yourself MV . This nation ( or whatever we call it ) has degenerated so much in my lifetime of 53 years it’s incomprehensible.
Back in the 70s we all pretty much had the same ( very little compared to now ) but we were infinitely happier , respectful and obedient .
The greed is good , me me me notion is riding high now .

People tend to buy mcdonalds then drive to the nearest street park up eat then throw the litter out sometimes accompanied by a used nappy and i am speaking from experience .
We have a mcdonalds which was bad enough now we have a kentucky to go with it.

I’ve been on a camping site for the last five weeks in France and not see any anti-social behaviour what so ever.

The site we are in is only a 3 star 🌟 site, with a mixture of nationalities (French, Dutch, German & Belgium) from all walks of life. Each pitch is kept reasonably tidy when occupied and everything is cleared when they leave. There is certainly no litter, this doesn’t have to be enforced, it is to be expected.

In France they allow all male and female groups on camping sites and after 11pm you do not hear a peep from them. Could you imagine that in Britain.

We seem more divided as a society than ever.

Some dont believe that they need to be responsible and dont even recognize the problems we are all facing.

Then there are those of us who are disgusted at the way these people are carrying on.

Personally i think I will be giving crowded places a miss for a long time.

I would love to go to the lakes and York as we have done for many years but It's not worth the chew.

People have been incarcerated in their own homes for three months and have finally been let out.
In no way do I condone littering and anti social behaviour but I don’t understand why people are surprised it’s happening this summer and pontificating about it. Blame the hideous lockdown.

Not all of us are behaving this way. Just couldn't give a **** for anybody else types who have no sence of decency.

Why should we not be surprised and despondent when we hear these stories?
