Big December Coming Up

I don’t think I appreciated how testing our December is going to be. We have 8 games including matches against Leeds, Ipswich, West Brom (currently above us), Hull (currently above us), a league cup quarter final and a long trip to Swansea. Plus we have another game on Jan 1st against Coventry.

That’s a huge amount of games in a short period of time, and some really tests as well.

Could make or break our season, and you have to hope we don’t pick up too many injuries.

No international breaks until March? Cup quarter-final and big league games? Bring it on! Of course it's not going to be straight forward but one thing we've shown over the last few months is that we can still get wins even with a lot of injuries and even against the best teams in the league. UTB.

I am away from the 9th December to 7th Jan so will be seeking dodgy feeds on my iPad. Misery inducing when you can't find one but great if you can even if you're five and a half hours ahead.

Bristol City - A
Preston - H
Leeds - A
Ipswich - H
Hull - H
Swansea - A
Port Vale - A
West Brom - H
Rotherham - A
Huddersfield - A
Coventry - H

We will know exactly where our boys stand after this run of games, there's no breaks and if we can put a run together against a lot of teams in and around us it would be absolutely spectacular.
Alot of other championship fans will have been surprised to see us down the table and will be fully expecting us to get ourselves up there.
We fear absolutely nobody.

I genuinely feel Leeds Vs Boro will be an absolute barnstormer. 2 rivals and 2 good teams going at it. Can't believe it's not on TV

20 points from that run would be a pretty good return.

I'm away from the 20th December to 16th January will need the heat and links.

In my mind I actually think, Watford (A) Sunderland (A) Norwich (A) Southampton, Leicester & Cardiff / Birmingham at (H) reads worse.

On our day I back us to beat anyone and this is where we will see if the players are ready to produce to the levels required to get out of the division.

Hopefully we can get a few of the injured players back soon too, which would really strengthen our squad, especially in the forward options.

Some of the new players have visibly been improving in front of us in the cup games and their league cameo's, I see this run of fixtures as way of speeding that up and getting to know more about our wider squad.
Personally I cant wait to see a back 4 combo of something like Dijiksteel, RVDB, Clarke and Bangura, either in the the League cup game or the 3rd FA cup, they could be absolute DT but I don't think so, ,+ I'm really looking forward to OBrien coming back he could be really important for us when he's fully fit later in the season.

We have a 100% record against the top 6 and haven't beaten any of the bottom 6. So bring the big games on.
I was just thinking of this mad fact yesterday as it happens, crazy but true. Probably another reason why everyone was so doom and gloom earlier on in the season, most of our schit results were against nowt special sides? Southampton, the deckchairs and Leicester though? No problem at all.👍🤣
