Better Call Saul ...

Agree although Jesse looks so old now haha
He's like an octave deeper, but not as 'off' as Todd in El Camino for continuity.

I thought the Kim and Jesse scene was a bit sentimental for me, put there to appease the fans too much. The only bit of fat in the whole series. Rhea's gotta sweep the board for awards doesn't she?

Haha spot on, I noticed the drop in tonality of Jesse's voice .. other than that the scene worked well enough, better than I was expecting anyway

The Todd weight thing in El Camino really ruined it as petty as it is to mention ... out of the whole Breaking Bad world I guess El Camino is my least fave of the lot

Better Call Saul has been outstanding, though. I think it's edged Breaking Bad in so many ways, as time has gone by

The writing has been better and better and they have made it work so well .. I hope the finale wraps things up satisfyingly for all .. can't believe it is almost that time already after what seemed like an eternity of waiting for the series to return!

*one more picky thing - it is a shame they had to replace the actor for Geoff, the cab driver .. the new actor didn't seem as menacing as the guy who originally was cast

I'm going to give it another watch after next week

Totally agree, it's got so much depth to the characters, they're even more 3 dimensional

It seemed to be heading that way until a switch tripped inside Jimmy when she said “I trusted you”
Yes
so 2 options left
he comes clean, takes his medicine and becomes a better person
or
goes down fighting and we all hate him

My guess is that the finale will be:
1. Jimmy heading off to a meeting with his maker, with the irony of Kim’s last ever words to him having been “I’m glad that you’re alive”
2. He’ll die repentant; the ending of the last episode suggested that his conscience had kicked in.

Then again, it will probably be nothing like that ! Can’t wait.

Thought I`d read that the creators aren`t doing any further spin offs in the BB world, so that means this is it and whatever happens all the character arcs are closed with no returns possible

DONT READ IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED THE LAST EPISODE.

Really enjoyed that - although it is so long since I watched Breaking Bad I've forgot what happened to some of the other characters. I might rewatch the last couple of episodes of BB.
Did Mike, Guy and Salamanca all die in BB? Did Walter kill Hank?

Mike - Yes, by WW
Guy(?) Gus? - Yes, by WW and Salamanca blowing up his wheelchair
Salamanca - See Above
Hank - killed by the crims who WW hired and who turned against him at the end.

Walt killed Mike.
Hank was killed in a shoot out against the biker crew.
Hector Salamanca was killed by a bomb that Walt had given him, but also killed Gus.

Im going to binge watch BCS from the start. Watched it originally from 2015 at just one episode a week, then with breaks in-between series. Completely forgot about half the things that went on.

Think it will be even better the second time around, followed by BB.
