Better Call Saul ...

Episode title gives away the content

how the episode ended reminded me of when someone in the past said that they ( Saul/Kim ) wanted to be caught
I gathered the same ..

Just caught up with last night's episode, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Brilliant, can't believe after how long it seemed everyone was waiting for season six, that we are only a couple of episodes away from the end of it all already! Time does fly when .. as they say

Same with Ozark, seemed like I waited a lifetime for that to return but it was a rubbish ending. I don't think the same will be the case for BCS ..

It has all been worth the wait and will be emotional to see it all wrap up for good.

As said before, hope the likes of Rhea Seehorn end up seeing an award or two in recognition of their excellent work throughout this series

Lost the plot a bit watching that one.

Bit meh for me. Sorry. Hope it all becomes clear over the next two. Kinda wish I’d waited an few weeks and binged watched the last few now.

Be surprised if we see Saul again as I believe him hanging that shirt and tie combo back on the rack indicated that that was the end of Saul

Could say the same for Jimmy given the phone call and how it ended with Kim

He`ll either be dead or in oranges come the end of the show in my opinion

I think the twist is probably going to be that the nice guy with cancer who Gene wants to scam anyway, isnt just there to prove how amoral Saul has become, but will ultimately be the person who brings slippin Jimmy down.
Thoroughly enjoyed the episode.

Thoroughly enjoyed the episode.
I wondered if he was Walter whites son.
Except I’ve just remembered he was disabled wasn’t he 🤷‍♂️

Rhea has been excellent, and I can't believe she's 50!

But for me Patrick Fabian was the stand out. He got the balance of Howard just right, coming across as mainly a very good human being but with a touch of smugness that made him slightly unlikeable.

Another great episode IMO. It seems that Chuck was right about Jimmy all along. Even when he wants to change for the better, he'll always be drawn back into another scam as it's in his nature.

The parallels between Gene in the present day and the flashback to Breaking Bad were very clear. Mike warned him that Walt was bad news but Saul just couldn't resist the temptation to get involved, to the eventual ruin of everyone. Despite that life lesson, Jimmy seems powerless to stop himself/Gene from going down another "bad choice road".

I still hope forlornly for redemption for Jimmy, but perhaps the moral of this particular story is that we cannot suppress our true nature. Jimmy is an addict and cannot resist the thrill of the game even though he knows it will ultimately cost him and anyone close to him dearly.

Yup, think he's gonna be pushing up the daisies

The writing is phenomenal. We see the two stories of BCS and BB fully intertwine at last. Referencing the first time Saul meets Walter in an episode called "Breaking Bad", oh and the same episode in Breaking Bad where we meet Saul for the first time was called "Better Call Saul".
The scenes in the 'Crystal Ship' filled in the back story that we didnt see in Breaking Bad and explains missing bits of info from that time superbly. Referencing Lalo - who no-one had heard of in Breaking Bad, but of course we all know who he was talking about now.
I truly cant think if a better written show. Ever.
I dont know how this is going to end but I'm going to enjoy the ride. I'm hoping Kim makes a return.
I dont see a happy ending to be truthful. Maybe Kim will be the only character who comes out of this OK...? I think Jimmy lives. But again, in hiding - with nothing.

Brilliant episode.

Jimmy just can't help himself and I think it will be his final undoing. Is he going to flee and start again or will he go and see Kim for one last time before he is arrested/killed?

Either way, next week's episode is going to be eipc!

Agree although Jesse looks so old now haha
Yeah his mannerisms aren't anything like Jesse was back in 2008 when BB first started. Great that him and Cranston are in it though, but if you notice all of the scenes are dark so you can't really see them. I'm going to follow BCS with BB, and I reckon Saul will look a lot younger in the early episodes of BB.
