Beth Rigby

Yes I do like Beth Rigby and I thought she was unfairly treated by Sky earlier this year.

Sophie Ridge is another who doesn't hold back.

Suspended from work for 3 months for a breach of Covid rules.

If the same principle were to be applied to the general population there'd be next to nobody at work.
Whilst I agree to an extent, the general population weren’t hypocritically and publicly criticising anyone and everyone for breaching the rules as part of their jobs, whilst at the same time sticking two fingers up at the rules themselves.

The level of hypocrisy in this country when it comes to Covid is staggering. And that includes Joe Public. I'm not defending her, I just think a 3 month suspension was harsh.

When she was digging out politicians for months and months about covid I think she was very lucky to keep her job.

Ok Adi go to bed mate you must be tired having been sat on that high horse of yours lauding it over everyone today on here.

she got suspended and very nearly lost her job for putting peoples lives at risk with no care or thought for others. I’m sure if I looked I could find posts from you whining about Dominic Cummings going to Barnard Castle yet this woman’s offence is much worse as she unequivocally broke the rules and was caught doing so, so why should she keep her job?

Hancock put his arm around his colleague's shoulder in the House of Commons and kept his job.

Johnson boasted about shaking hands with hospital patients and kept his job.

See where I'm going with this?

The mental gymnastics here are impressive. Someone in a senior public role responsible for writing and implementing the rules he undeniably broke versus a journalist asking tricky questions about COVID breaking the rules. You have a really skewed view of the world just to defend the indefensible.

It was a daft post because your position seems to be that she should have lost her job because she broke the rules and asked difficult questions about COVID ie she did her job. Boiled down that means you think anyone breaking COVID rules should lose their job. Is that your position?

And yet both are still employed so how nearly is nearly.
Well I don’t know many people who have gotten three and six month suspensions from work - do you know any? I would say very nearly.
