I'm totally surprised he agreed to that (it's so brutal) with the No1 interviewer at the moment. Beth Rigby is a legend...it puts Laura Kuenssberg ' Tory Luvvie' to utter shame....Laura should be approaching Beth for a training course in journalism.

Its good news for the country though in the short term because he is an idiot of the far right and if Truss gets elected then thats the Tories finished for a generation because she will be worse than T.May. Zero morals...
Tories only hope is the sniveller Sunak. I hate him as well. Don't think he has the charm to halt this haemorrhaging of tory votes...and the tories will come under enormous pressure to hold another GE soon on the back of this scandal...

I think the pressure is on Starmer now tomorrow in PM Questions ; Starmer needs to do better than last week and nail him on these witnesses and cummings words...more than one witness against him ?
 
From what I'm hearing this was a pooled interview and it just happened to be Sky's turn so they gave the job to Beth Rigby.

She was at pains to point out to Johnson that as well as asking her own questions she was also asking questions on behalf of other broadcasters.

Starmer nailed him last week. Same tomorrow. Straight forward questions that everyone knows the PM can't answer. And with 150k dead, he can't pull his usual bluster and bravado either

His lies, hopefully, have finally caught up with him

The problem they have is that on this particular matter, that braying, which he is so reliant on, can't and won't be forthcoming. It wasn't last week. To many dead citizens for that

This has already been done - she was punished, he wasn't. She wasn't the PM, the highest office in the county whereas Johnson IS (for now). She wasn't responsible for creating the rules, he was. Stop deflecting just because your hero is on his last political legs.

Do you think that charm is a quality required to be PM? On that basis the present one has it in abundance. But it appears little else except on how to run a bar
 
It's now been confirmed that Sue Gray WILL be speaking to Dominic Cummings as part of her investigation. This comes on top of the news that a group of the 2019 intake of new Tory MPs are meeting to consider putting multiple letters of no confidence to the 1922 committee and a couple of other senior Tories are seeming to suggest they believe they are now very close to the 54 required letters.

I'm not sure Johnson will last until the end of the month.
