Best use of music in a film

Definitely Jaws. Film wouldn’t of been half as scary without that music.

"It would have been scary even if they had played "Enter the Clowns" theme for me but yes it was a sublime piece of music and John Williams best.

There seems to be so much bland orchestral pieces in films these days especially with the Marvel series.

Tarantino typifies this alchemistic mix as he knows more than anyone that the right music can add so much to a movie and the way he uses music that he thinks fits the film regardless of age or genre shows this.

True but there’s still some good orchestral music pieces but it’s usually in the trailers. Love a Two Steps From Hell song or anything from M83

I love John Williams and he has created some incredible masterpieces.

but for me the one film that he really nailed it was Jurassic Park the way that it slowly builds into that crescendo is simply glorious. I think it’s an amazing piece of music. The range of instruments the way he knots it together it like a classical score.

The maestro.

Halloween (original)
Alien👍

The standout No1 is Jaws. It's still resonates now. A film that stopped me swimming in the sea at Blackpool and Morecambe on holiday with my grandparents. I simply wouldn't go in after watching in (probably don't let 6-7 year olds watch it😂).
