Anyone can advise on this? Just had a notification from anypets that my single dog insurance is going up from £35 to £55 a month. I've never claimed, so that seems expensive?

Try Napo, very reasonable rates and fairly low excess

Shop around but be aware if you do change and the dog gets a claim, if it's somthing they think was there when they weren't covering you, most insurers will use that to not claim

Pet insurance will usually go up because as pets get older they become more likely to claim, and they base it in things like local claim volumes too

We are with pet plan for our cats, costs £45/month for 2 pedigrees including the death cover , we got £100 cashback on that though. There are cheaper ones but per plan are generally well regarded and most vets can claim up front rather than billing you

I always recommend Pet Plan. Not the cheapest but a good honest policy and I've never had a problem with refused cover after a claim or as a dog has aged. They are a "lifetime" policy so will honour that (though your payments will go up as the dog ages)

I've just had a similar email from Manypets. Mine has only gone up by £10 a month despite not making any claims.

Try M&S. Ours is a very reasonable price for the premier (lifetime) which offers a good level of cover. Plus i think they're giving away £50 vouchers with new policies at the moment.
