WHats the best autobiography you've read? Doesnt matter what genre, I'm looking to get back into my kindle and am after some recommendations

Cheers

Paul McGrath’s is a quality read.

Mad, bad and dangerous to know - Ranulph Fiennes

Step by Step - Simon Reeves

The Moons a Balloon - David Niven

Read Michael Parkinson’s book and changed my opinion of him being a good guy to a complete tosser.

I’ve just read Bob’s book and although enjoyable, I have read a lot better. Well worth a read and gives a good insight into the man.

Bobby Robson’s is a good read.

Give Ray Kennedy’s book a go. He was some footballer.

Too many to mention.

Peter Crouch’s book - How to be a footballer is a good read.

Not so much as an autobiography but Shackleton’s book South is unbelievable and will leave you astonished at what they accomplished. It wasn’t until recently I realised that Shackleton’s right hand man Frank Wild was from Skelton.

Not a autobiography as such, but SPIKE, AN INTIMATE MEMOIR by Norma Farnes (his agent/manager) is a very good insight to the life of Milligan. She used to live in Thornaby. (And a boro fan to boot)

Jack Charlton's, very good and highly recommended.

I'm reading 'Queen of the Desert' right now, it's about Gertrude Bell, who spent the early part of her life in Redcar, and went on to do some amazing things in the late 19th and early 20th century. Incredible lady.

As a random one, Jackie Chan, I am Jackie Chan, my life in action. Incredible read. They guy has been through so much yet retains an amazing outlook.
