Didnt Charlie Chaplin father a child really late in life? He isn't on wikipedia's list of odest dads so maybe I am making this up.

I fathered a child when I was 45 - go me. My wife was 47. I very quickly went and got my balls snipped though.

72-73 by my reckoning. Charlie was born in 1889, last kid (Christopher) born in 1962. Oona his wife was 37, and had had three kids to him; she was only 18 and he was 54 when they got married.
 
Just looking at the list of oldest fathers on Wikipedia. One of them was Julio Iglesias' father, who was 90, and dead for seven months when his wife had her second kid to him. Julio Jr was pushing 70 at the time.

Probably the crucial bit of information though is that Julio Sr. was a gynecologist and fertility expert(!)
