Bereavement counselling

I've never had counselling in relation to a bereavement but I did have a course of it around 15 years ago to deal with a variety of things in my life. I was very sceptical initially and while that didn't change straight away, it did help me come to terms with those things and allowed me to move on.

Well done for taking the first steps and I hope you find it to helpful in moving forwards in regards to the bereavement you suffered.

Not bereavement. However my first wife and myself went to counselling together prior to separating and then eventually divorcing. Where they compared divorce with bereavement. It helped me a lot with my emotional response to us splitting up (which was the right decision).

Teesside Hospice do counselling for adults - it will be great for you

I use to deliver bereavement counselling for Teesside Hospice ’For get me not’ children’s service. In a peculiar way, it was one of the best things I have ever done.

Also offered adult bereavement counselling for the Hospice and Connexions Mentoring Service.
