Being honest what do you expect tomorrow - v Fulham

Play for a draw and get beat.
It's almost a free hit in my book when you look at the table.
 
Very hard game. Fulham have great players who can score goals as well as Mitrovic but understandably play with him as an out and out striker. And boy can he score goals as we know. A one on one with Lumley doesnt exactly fill me with confidence. My heart says Boro but my head says Fulham. A draw would be a respectful result against a team that scores for fun.

The same people that told me Britt was a goalscorer are the ones that told me Warnock was a good manager.

Howson, McNair, Tav, Bola, Dijksteel, Fry, Kebano, Bolasie, Spence, and Watmore -- he had some decent players. He did hamper himself by signing Akpom, Betanelli, Hall and Roberts, so he brought some of the rubbish on himself
 
Considering their stupendous goal difference they have let points slip in quite a lot of games so all things are possible.

Howson - always solid
McNair - switched to defence
Tav - missed MASSIVELY
Bola - off the scrapheap
Dijksteel - off the scrapheap
Fry - missed MASSIVELY
Kebano - arrived in January
Bolasie - arrived in January unfit
Spence - still developing imo
Watmore - off the Sunderland scrapheap
Akpom - 4th or 5th choice?
Bettinelli - finished poorly
Hall - did well when fit
Roberts - here when he arrived

One striker and no back up for Fry or Tav
 
It’s a free hit for me. Really, on paper, Fulham should win. Any points will be a bonus for us.
That said, Man Utd and Spurs are both far better than Fulham so…….🤞🏻
 
2-0 to us and Mitrovic sent off in 76th min for doing a Will Smith on Fry in frustration at not being allowed out of his back pocket the previous 75mins
 
I don't think I've ever known so many Boro fans be so in awe of a Championship team. Fulham are a failed Premiership team with a striker who can score against teams in the Championship.

We absolutely can win tonight. If we play our top game we will win in my opinion. If we don't we won't. Same as any game in this league. We are a cracking team now.

Really looking forward to tonight. I hope folk at the ground are more up for the fight than some of the doommongers on here.

He used wing the best he could and then replaced him. Bolasie was a gamble, I don’t think we had the funds or players available to go for. If Bolasie had avoided injury and been fit he would have been great for the play offfs. The same with NML - for the money and availability.
