Be interesting what happens to hoppe now

He has played U23’s a scored a couple of goals, not sure I get where you’re coming from here, if Leo or the new Manager think he is good enough, he will get game time on merit.
What's not to get? You said he shouldn't be judged until 6 or 7 games. Who gets 6 or 7 games to cut their teeth at this level? He might get a couple of chances off the bench and he does well he might get a start but you can't throw him for 6 or 7 games...unless i've mistaken your intention.
I dont think we can write him off based on 5 mins as a sub in his first ever game in english football
I'm not writing him off. He's just not ready to lead the line yet.

Those 20 minutes gave me a good indication that he wasn't ready to start for the first team. I haven't written him off, despite what a number of posts have insinuated. He wasn't ready for first team football until he got up to speed and developed a better understanding of english football.

That’s fair but i think he deserved better from our now former manager.
Has he showed in training that he's up to it.? Has he looked as good as Muniz, Watmore, Forss or Akpom? I don't know the answer to any of that. If a manager is presented with a player that he looks at and doesn't think he is ready does he just play him anyway to satisfy the club or show politeness?

I hope he proves to be good of course but he wasn't necessarily a signing that you looked at and thought "that makes sense". The key really will be what another manager makes of him. If he's not selected again then you'd worry about the investment the club have made.

He’s scored in the reserves U23 so he’s done all he can plus akpom
Was injured as well.

U23 is a whole different thing to being thrown in in the championship. As i say i hope he does well, but it's too early to say whether or not Wilder was right to leave him out.

The keeper jersey is one I'm interested in. Leo must have a good understanding of who is the better keeper in training

F
He might not even be on the bench tonight. Agree he hasn't been given a chance but surely he is 5th choice striker.

Forss, on the other hand, I wouldn't be suprised to see start with Muniz.
Forss could definitely start i think, although Akpom is surely more likely? I suspect Forss is a decent finisher, but he's struggled on his admittedly brief appearances to get involved at times
