Bbq’s

Weber, Outback, Grillstream

depends how much you want to pay to be honest. weber do wifi enabled ones now hahahaha!

i have a 10 year old outback but looking now for a new gas one

Second shout for anything Weber. I’d go charcoal though and become a true pit master - that’s my plan once the weather picks up I’m going to try smoking some ribs and chicken on the BBQ.

Agree charcoal better results but gas really convenient to have a bbq experience and not throwing everything on with a time frame or if you just want a couple thing bbq’ing

I'm also in the market for a new Gas BBQ. I had a look about did a bit of research and Campingaz came highly recommended. Had Outback previously but looking for a step up. Can anyone vouch for Campingaz and similarly has anyone had experience with Weber which warrants the cost difference. More than happy to pay the extra, providing it can be justified.

This is the Campingaz model I'm interested in.

Coming in at around £600

Weber Q1000 gas BBQ. I Have had one for about 5 years. It’s fantastic, easy to use, easy to clean and maintain, can be stored away easily yet is big enough for a large family or just a cheeky burger on your own.
I know I sound like a salesman but rate them really highly.
Weber

Semantics aside I have had a 3 burner Outback for 16 years. Only parts I have replaced are coals. Sits outside under a cover all winter and is still going strong.

I’ve got mates who say the same who cremate everything in sight at their one august bank holiday bbq a year...

Gas BBQ midweek and get the coals out at the weekend when I’ve got the time 👌 best of both worlds.
The reason they cremate everything is they get the BBQ too hot too quickly and cook any food items too quickly, hence the burnt and raw results 😂

Doing a BBQ is like making love to a beautiful famous actress.
You must take your time, make sure she's ready before placing your meat/veg and don't rush to the finish as you don't have that opportunity for a perfect BBQ again.
