BBC remove Emily Maitlis from Newsnight

Ah ok.

Still might cancel the licence fee

And ironically that’s what many on the right want you to do. They see the licence fee as some kind of “Byzantine tax” Cameron started this purge in the bbc by introducing Tory shills to the BBC management board. And with Munchetty incident and now Maitlis you are witnessing the fruits of this change.

BBC said Maitlis "did not meet the required standards of due impartiality " before they decided to go with her asking for a night off.

Whenever have the BBC been impartial- they are worried that they may have stirred Boris Johnson into decriminalising the offence of not paying the licence fee and thus virtually forcing the BBC to go it alone.

Not that strange, Smalltown did vote Tory!

BBC said that Newsnight did not meet their standards of due impartiality, not Maitlis. People are allowed time off work too, it's not slavery.

It was a very fast review and conclusion for the BBC.
This kind a f thing would normally take at least many weeks before coming to a conclusion.

Suppose it’s a double edged sword - they have their act together or are quite worried about government policy to reduce their income.
