Bausor and Scott Out

Never understood why Kenyon was shuffled away. He was good enough at his job to be employed by Man Utd (during arguably their most successful years) and Chelsea helping build the foundations for some of their most successful periods. Wasn't he with us as an advisor off the books? Should have offered him a position in the backroom staff when he was here.
Gibson should have appointed him Chief Exec with the brief of getting the club up (check), then keeping it up and preparing it for sale.
Gibson has gone his own route and the club has lost another £46m since 2016. He's clueless.

No, it's the manager & coaches that are responsible for the on field situation - it's not Footy Manager, we can't just sign who we want. As much as I liked the style of footy Wilder had Sheff Utd playing - he is not getting the best out of this squad & his throwing people under the bus - Akpom & others - pre-season does the club, himself & the players no good at all & maybe is reflected in the players performances.

No managers job is ever safe, all are on borrowed time & with every point dropped Wilder shuffles towards the door. Next home game is key.

8 Managers [including Caretakers] in 5 years should tell you something. 1664655767122.png

The only good managerial appointments Steve Gibson has made are Brian Robson, Steve McClaren, Aitor Karanka and Neil Warnock (due to the timing which was to avoid relegation to league 1). The rest have been abject failures. Wilder is the latest in a long line. He’s living off past glories and although I don’t wish Steve Gibson to leave, there needs to be some serious intervention to assist this man in running a football club successfully.

I can deal with seasons in the championship, flirting with the play offs with an odd cup run thrown in there. But I cannot deal with the serious threat of league 1.

Wilder is certainly on borrowed time - his own making - too dogmatic & idealogical to his system & style of playing - systems & style should suit the players & our slow, sideways & backwards then often a cross into the area looking for a lone or at best isolated Boro player & a packed defence.. is why we are (checks table) ...3rd bottom with 2 wins from 11.

Wilder & his coaches are not getting the best out of the squad - is it the squad we'd all want, no though we have what we have: get the best out of them, in a system & style that suits them - not playing to Wilders dogma.

I don’t get the criticism of Bauser.

He has a budget to work with for transfer fees & wages which he obviously has to work within.

Does anyone know of a player that we have lost because he wouldn’t pay the money that was available?

We have a squad strong enough and talented enough to be a top half team, Wilder isn't getting the best out of the squad for whatever reason and for that reason he either needs to be more flexible in his tactics, team selection, man management or he needs to go.
It's an appalling record of Manager's over recent years and one of the main reasons we are where we are.
No consistency, changing squad's every season the golden thread was that fine it simply broke and no one was prepared to fix it, just rip it up and start again

I'm not sure Bausor is the one deserving huge criticism.
He may not be the most dynamic Chief Exec, but you have to accept that Gibson is very much an Executive Chairman who calls the shots.
Bausor has helped recover revenue and improve quite a lot recently.
I think the scope of his role is relatively narrow. Maximise non player revenues and cut non player operating costs.

Gibson sets the financial constraints and makes the big calls.
Scott has clearly been appointed to recommend the football related strategy and how the club spends the budget set by Gibson.
Wilder has to work with what he is given, organise and motivate the first team squad.

Gibson and Scott deserve pelters, but Wilder is not doing himself favours either right now.
