Bausor and Scott Out

Evidently , you know no one on this board is rich enough to buy the club .

And once again, people claiming it would be worse under new ownership , like it’s definite. It isn’t.

I would rather take that risk than find that dinosaur inevitably take us to league 1. Might happen under new ownership , but that’s a risk worth taking

There are many smaller clubs than us that have been bought out
Looking at the table there are 29 clubs above us who are a similar size or smaller. Since McLaren left the number of clubs that have overtaken us is staggering. We are well into a 2nd decade of poor decision making on and off the pitch.

There are so many baffling decisions that have been made, so many obvious poor decisions.

Stewardship has been shocking, the club is in debt to Gibsons for millions, but his decision making and leadership has led to those debts.

The club has gone backwards season after season now. We never have any continuity, progress seems fleeting and by mistake rather than judgement.

Gibson should be one of the most able chairmen in the leagues, but time after time we have unbalanced squads, holes in key areas and managers being let down by the recruitment team.

Don't see how changing a manager yet again will improve us more than a short term fix when there are inadequacies that run through the heart of the club.

Could be b***ks , but statistics in terms of fan base support have us about 18th best supported club in England . That is premier league size with stints in the championship . Which we’ve historically been .

We’re not going to be bought by a multi billionaire . We’re not a sleeping giant with that sort of potential , but we’ve been overtaken by smaller clubs than ourselves. We’re a medium to bigger sized club who should be able to attract a decent investor .

Ever since bausor has been at this club, we’ve been **** . Fine , maybe change him ? No ? Then Gibson is evidently happy with what he’s doing.

Gibson is living off his legacy from 1986 and the 90s . He isn’t rich enough to compete anymore but doesn’t know how to run the club effectively to overcome the shortcomings in spending. Norwich aren’t rich but they are ran effectively.

We are in the same bracket as West Brom, stoke , Norwich , Watford etc. yet we languish in this tier from poor running of the club

but I’m not going to forget what a disgusting window we just had.

12 new players. Millions spent. Internationals. Players with Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga experience.

What more do people want?

It's a garbage excuse from a desperate manager. Which championship team does everyone think got exactly all of their transfer targets?

That centre midfield is absolutely garbage, we can all see it, can't Wilder and the coaches?
It simply isn't acceptable anymore, I'd rather play Hackney or someone else from the U23s, can't be any worse

Utter drivel, as usual.
What exactly is this PL, Bundesliga, La Liga experience?
Roberts, Smith, Luongo, Lenihan, Clarke, Mowatt?
Giles and Muniz have not played in the PL.
Steffen has played in 2 PL matches.
Forss has played in 7 PL matches and not scored.
Hoppe played in 5 La Liga matches without scoring and 22 Bundesliga matches.

The longer Gibson stays, the lower our ambition becomes.
He has more time served as Chairman, more experience, more absolute power. Yet we have been in shocking decline since 2006.
He is the constant.
He will eventually sack Wilder, because he always has to have a scapegoat.
Look in the mirror Gibson.

But ….. but …… 1986

Going absolutely nowhere under him……. At least the club is locally owned (cough cough Mel at derby )

Relegates us to league 1…… but it could be worse, we could do a bolton or derby. I mean he is effectively putting us on the same league as them , but he apparently runs the club well

Imagine living in this mindset . May as well stay with Gibson forever then

I bet Man City fans are F***ing gutted they’re not locally owned

It's plain that MFC cannot satisfy your demands, time to move on?

I hope Gibson stays so that our local identity stays, we are one of the few who have it , such as Norwich. But the hangers on can fook off now like Bausor and Scott.

Great they couldn’t do in the top flight, looks like they can’t do it in the championship, we may find out next year if they can do it in league one.

Why don't you move on?
I support Middlesbrough FC, not Steve Gibson.

I don't need advice from you, so keep it to yourself.
He’s entitled to his opinion just like you are.

I look forward to our bright future under the prospective new owner.

Do you know who is in line to take over?

15th May 2017..............

Speaking to BBC Tees, Gibson admitted that key decisions made at the top level contributed to their downfall.

"The fact that we haven't fulfilled our objective tells you we've made mistakes," said Gibson.

"It's heartbreaking really. The season's been really tough. You make decisions and your mistakes are a retrospective view of the decisions you make.

"At the time we thought we were making the right decisions with the information that we had but many things have gone wrong."

"Our plans are to change all aspects of the club. We have spent the last month looking at what we've done this season, how we've done it and what could be better.

"Collectively, responsibility lies through me and right the way through the club. We failed and we don't need telling that we've failed. It hurts but we have to correct our mistakes now."

"There's only one place I want for this club and it's in the Premier League," he said.

"The club is well run and we're in a good financial state so we will have more resources going into next season than any other Championship club.

Five years on, probably getting on for £90 million spent on players, considerably worse in almost every department...

Who is the common denominator in all the decision making?

Yet again people wanting shot of Gibson but not prepared to put up the money to buy and keep the club afloat.
So we just wallow in mid table/bottom half obscurity for the rest of our time on this planet?

I appreciate everything Gibson has done for us, but the "we'll be knackered if he sells up" excuse is overused and outdated.

Should Wilder be sacked? No. I would give him till end of December to turn things around.

Honestly, I'm embarrassed reading some of this.

We are trying to create a new structure for the club a framework for sustainability and success and all I can hear is the mewling of ingrates. Sack, Bausor and Scott and ask Gibson to move on. Two of whom fans struggle to understand their role at the club but want them sacked, presumably to make them feel better? If we believe in creating a future for the club, then we do not throw out all the changes at the first sign of failure (Cue the wailing "not the first sign"). Yeah, yeah.

Seriously, the man that will go will be Wilder. The players available to him whilst not as good as they might be, are better than the results. His persistence with Mowatt, the invisible midfielder, baffles me most. Then sacking off the wing backs but paying the same system? I mean WTAF? He seems to be failing to motivate the players, that is not Scott, Bausor or Gibson that is Wilder and the coaching team.

That said he will have until probably Christmas to allow a new coach a transfer window.

(Cue the wailing "not the first sign"). Yeah, yeah.
It is not the first sign. Southgate
It's not the second sign. Strachan
It's not the third sign. Agnew
It's not the fourth sign. Monk
It's not the fifth sign. Pulis
It's not the sixth sign. Woodgate

The only period of growth we had was under Karanka, who Kenyon attracted.
Then King Stevie decided he didn't need any more help, he could do just fine by himself........................

Never understood why Kenyon was shuffled away. He was good enough at his job to be employed by Man Utd (during arguably their most successful years) and Chelsea helping build the foundations for some of their most successful periods. Wasn't he with us as an advisor off the books? Should have offered him a position in the backroom staff when he was here.
