At-a-glance: The latest changes in England

From 25 July indoor gyms, pools and other sports facilities can reopen

On 1 August the government will update its advice on going to work, asking employers to make decisions about how and where their staff can work safely
From the same date, most remaining leisure settings, including bowling, skating rinks, casinos and all close contact services such as beauticians, will be allowed to reopen

Wedding receptions for up to 30 people will also be allowed from next month

From September, schools, nurseries and colleges will be open for all children and young people on a full-time basis, while universities are also working to reopen as fully as possible

From October, the government intends to allow audiences to return to stadiums, while conferences and other business events can recommence, subject to the outcome of pilots

Seems strange that you could have crowds at a sporting event but only 30 people at a wedding. Sky also mentioned they might consider reducing or removing 1 metre rule in November but thats not on BBC site.

They are sure to want you indoors in December..
Please be aware of some kind of fakery at this juncture..
Stuff will happen they have no control over So expect
some rediculas excuse to magically arrive on scene..
I prefer to call it Ascension Fog but be assured youre
Government will call it as Lifethreatening..

.I have read and heard from different sources that this could be one of 4 things that can occur....1,

the fog like energy being released supposedly will finally take out the Draconian blood lines that aren't willing to give in,

and we should stay inside as this happens,

2..it also could clean up our air, oceans, soil to its organic state as everything it goes through will be purified.

3, is that the higher benevolent beings of light from other Dimensions that are waiting and protecting this planet will finally show themselves to humanity,

and or 4th prediction is that there will be a massive shift into the 5D new planet waking up into this new reality after that fog like mist passes through.

We shall see, but supposedly not everyone of us will ascend until we are ready being more conscious in what we consume like dense foods, being more aware of sself, being more from heart and having more compassion and humility is where the key is to ascension.

They want office workers back in so Pret and and TFL dont go bust. Office workers dont need to go back in - and I expect most wont

Well there is some sense to the wedding/sporting event situation on a simplistic level. A crowd at an outdoor sporting event would be less of a danger in terms of spread than a gathering of people in a potentially small indoor space. But this overlooks public transport, concourses, pubs etc that can be crowded at a sporting event.

At my wedding I had multiple handshakes and hugs with everyone that was there. At a football stadium, outdoors as well so less transmission risk, I will rarely make contact with anyone. I guess that is the difference.

As soon as they re-opened the pubs it was every man for himself. We know the people of this country can't be trusted to behave responsibly where alcohol is concerned. That said, pre-lockdown people were still meeting up and advice not to shake hands etc was being laughed about in a jokey way as if it wasn't a real threat. I presume now that we are back in normal society again people's attitudes will have changed and so personal space will be respected more and transmission levels will be lower.

It would be impossible, under last season's conditions, to get to your seat and maintain social distancing at the Riverside. And a lot of other grounds are much worse than ours. Remember the concourse issues a Spuds last year. Couldn't maintain 6 inches distance never mind 1 metre plus

It was by us when we went to pub but as time went on I would say 60% of the other clientele never bother with it. Some still trying to shake hands and hug people.

I think the difference is it is good for the economy to have crowds in stadiums. It doesn't matter that there is a risk, the bigger risk is the risk a mega recession.

All of the Government's lockdown easing solar have put the economy ahead of public health.

Nice to Plaz posting, this fog sounds a real pea souper which must be the dense food. Got my spoon ready nanu.

Just remember what you heard later on..
Information is so hard to come by as there

The wedding industry is a £10bn per year industry when you include guests hotel, travelling, gifts and outfits etc. Football is similar, PL is £8bn per year but I don't know if that includes all of the associated industries like pubs and Sky etc.

In a fortnight to three weeks we will see if there is a spike in infections, if there is not i will consider going to a pub early doors rather than later when most will be bladdered.
