On telly tonight. She is still doing well. It brought back memories when it was funny. I stopped watching Cora years ago as it was getting like Eastenders, all doom and gloom. They tried to make it more real life with drugs, murder, underage pregnancies etc. By the way Thelma Barlow (Mavis) lived in Falmouth Street Middlesbrough when she was young. I used to love the comedy scenes. They had some great characters like Hilda and Stan, Bet Lynch, Reg and Maureen and Fred Gee. Not very politically correct but do you remember Blanche at her grandson Peter Barlow’s Alcoholics Anonymous meeting? :)
