Not on Twitter, interested in global politics - yes.
Is it global politics though? I mean, its a domestic affair but granted a foreign nation so global in that way perhaps. Ive never understood the preoccupation of british citizens living n the UK with american affairs, especially when our own affairs are in such a shocking state - i suppose some people enjoy watching eastenders and coronation street so its kind of similar in that way
Obsession - no. Car crash politics - yes.
Just an interest in the world. it's getting smaller you know.

Aww behave mate. I have no interest in getting into any disputes with you or anyone else. Just because I have offered my own thoughts that may not be exactly harmonious with the OP doesnt mean im some sort of secret squirrel. Honestly, whats with some board posters acting like this place is like a private members club and they were to the manor born. All Ive said was I dont get the preoccupation, forgive my provincial attitudes

America is a proving ground for what our politicians will try and get away with.
Mushroom d*ck lies about anything and everything. Our leaders are not quite at that level yet, but some of the Tory cabinet have a very tenuous grasp of the truth that is not that far away from them becoming like the Liar in Chief.
The lobbying of special interest groups in the US is also not that far removed from what we are seeing over here, it's just a lot more open over there.

Really pathetic how new board members are greeted on here - anyone who has a different world view or even a slightly out of step perspective or offers an alternative view for consideration is a long standing troll with a history of other usernames. Who said it was american? netflix is, as you will no doubt know, a streaming service largely tailored to each domestic market it operates in.
