Last night was huge as a defeat would have resigned us to the bottom 3 with a 2 gap forming.

But that win as well as lifting us out of the bottom 3 has put us right back among the chasing pack and given us a platform to build on as now another on puts us up into mid table.

Plus the mini break as well it was vital we get into mid table before that.
 
We have a long way to go last night was a good three points but again highlighted our limitations.

I agree, i think they best we can hope for is not being a million miles from that play offs and finally having a good january window to push on a bit. I'm expecting frustrating inconsistency, anything better will be a bonus now. It's a funny league though, you can suddenly look a good sie and get momentum out of nowhere (and the opposite) so it's really hard to judge. The world cup will impact lots of teams too, it'll be like a new start for lots of clubs.
 
If we can get to the Jan window, where I expect us to strengthen, and be within 6-8 points of the playoffs then its game on.

i can imagine half the division being in touch with the play offs still in january, so it's highly possible. Our track record in january isn't great though.
 
As always in the championship you're one good run away from flying.
I'm fully confident we'll be at least in contention come the world Cup.

true, but realistically we need some pace in midfield and cover for Howson - maybe that Luongo? I dont know
