It was hastily put together. The BBC need to be told not to run the news banner accross the bottom as it blocks the view of the charts.
My area in the South West is excluded from nearly all of the charts as we are at the bottom.

It seriously looked as though they had spent the 2 hour delay on producing those charts and discussing what they actually meant. The message "best way forward" keeps changing day to day which makes you seriously doubt the scientific arguments they try to put forward.

People are assuming the slides are there to inform - they're not. They're props for the support acts, who, in turn, are there to distract us from the woeful unpreparedness of the star turn. They are a bulking agent for the extremely thin gruel of a BJ press conference. They excuse Johnson from engaging with statistics. By filling time they allow him to get 'offstage' with minimal exposure to questioning. Like support acts everywhere, they're not supposed to upstage the main turn. Look at Johnson's extreme discomfort on the rare occasions he shares a platform with Sunak.
