Away days on Beggs coaches

How times change,No need for priority points then,just buy your coach ticket and go.
Had a great time going around the grounds never a dull moment,we even won the odd game.

I travelled the country length and breadth on Beggs Buses. I remember going to Derby and there was nine coaches three abreast across the motorway, all racing each other.

And Royal Coaches from Eston. Now there were some ruffians on Royal Coacheswhich run from the Eston Royal.

I remember going to Carlisle and the battery was flat on the bus when we returned after the game. It was a sight to see 45 lads trying to push a bus off.

I once travelled all the way to Southampton in the back of a removal van that had no seats. Now that was a journey.

Got stopped by the coppers going to Swindon in the back of a little van in 1990, fined and 3pts for driver, got to Swindon and had to go in home end. Managed to stay fairly calm when Bernie scored
