Boro flashback summer of 1978, as the Boro build up to John Neals 2nd season as manager, having lost 2 out of the 3 pre season friendlies played so far, the 4th pre-season friendly match v Ajax, was to be our 1st home friendly
Boro won the game 1-0 courtecy of a Billy Woof goal, infront of 9,527 fans at Ayresome Park
