It's a half hour walk from seven sisters tube. The tube's nowhere near White Hart Lane. The station is London overground.

Exactly. The walk to the Riverside from the station is bad enough. It's a half hour walk from seven sisters tube.
I was genuinely shocked at 20k empty seats. That's 1/3 of people not going. I get why people wouldn't, I was just amazed there was so many.Apart from Covid of course? It seems really odd to try and get in an attendance d!ck measuring contest at the height of a pandemic.

It's the crowd they were getting at their old ground. If they face any hardship it's down to poor club management.I was genuinely shocked at 20k empty seats. That's 1/3 of people not going. I get why people wouldn't, I was just amazed there was so many.
Clubs will suffer financially if that continues for a few months which with Omicron running wild it might. I had to miss yesterday after testing positive. Hoping to be fit to make a decision about new year's Day assuming no restriction put in place.
I was more thinking of smaller clubs if the same thing happens down the leagues. Be interesting what happens to crowds in Jan and Feb in our leagues and other EFL leagues. It's the crowd they were getting at their old ground. If they face any hardship it's down to poor club management.
I was thinking that. There doesn't seem to be many at the derby game
It's not surprise to me. London has been brutal these last few weeks. I know so many people who've caught it. Add to that not wanting to get in a tiny metal tube with hundreds of people is really is no surprise. Some will not be going for safety reasons but a lot will be isolating. I've had to practically live like a hermit in order to avoid it and get to see family and go to this match. Be interesting to see how many turn up for the rugby today. Quite busy with an hour to go but definitely not 70000 yetI was genuinely shocked at 20k empty seats. That's 1/3 of people not going. I get why people wouldn't, I was just amazed there was so many.

That's me for the next week. Been in the house since last Monday due to having a 'cold'. Did a PCR on Wednesday which came back positive yesterday. I'm going nowhere now so I have a chance of going to Sheff U. My son was gutted to miss yesterday. It's not surprise to me. London has been brutal these last few weeks. Aw man sorry to hear that. It's tough at the moment isn't it? Everyone's on a knife edge hoping they can avoid it.That's me for the next week. Feeling much better. For me it's been a really bad cold for a week. Waves of tiredness, headaches and a cough. Done my first negative test today so fingers crossed.Aw man sorry to hear that. It's tough at the moment isn't it? Everyone's on a knife edge hoping they can avoid it.
Hope you're feeling OK?

If we keep on winning then we'll beat iton the subject of attendances, our attendance on boxing day was the largest attendance of any championship match this season, and I'll be surprised if anyone beats it to be honest
The negative test is a good sign. Hopefully you're on the mend nowFeeling much better. For me it's been a really bad cold for a week. Waves of tiredness, headaches and a cough. Done my first negative test today so fingers crossed.
No trains, 8 pm Boxing Day KO, live on Sky plus rapidly rising covid. Trains and buses are free with your match ticket and that normally works very well. It's a 9-minute train shuttle from Brighton Station. A nightmare when no public transport.Brighton's ground is very train reliant there's nowhere to park anywhere near it. Its about 5 miles north of Brighton
