Assombalonga going?

It would save us 6 months of 30k a week. I imagine if he's said he will leave in the summer then may as well move him on. I doubt we'd get any fee.

We have been linked with the big lad from Bristol City? He's a skifull unit and probably ticks the boxes as a Warnock forward.

Watmore ha signed, Fletcher due back soon, Browne in wings, Akpom also available.
How many strikers do we want?

I wont lose a moments sleep if/when Brit leaves.

I have never really liked him a as player or looked forward to seeing him play, despite whatever his stats are.

I wish him well wherever he ends up, but he is certainly a Boro player that people wont talk about or remember in years to come.

Why do people think Assomabolonga will go anywhere else for less money when he could see out his contract, get his wages and leave for free in the summer?
I guess a club may want to sign him now rather than go up against a few clubs in the summer.

He could stay with us or sign for a new club on less money but a 3-4 year contract.

We can joke about Britt but I have no doubt he will have plenty of suiters in the championship in the summer. I think staying is definitely best for him.

If Fletcher is back soon I wont be bothered, if were planning for Akpom to be our main striker though we might as well give up any hopes of promotion now

Its bloody well not best for us though.
Taxi for Assombolonga!

Because he could end up like Duncan Watmore, with no contract at all, or he could sign a deal for a few years to keep his nose in the trough. Leaving for free is only great if you have something to go to.

Why are other clubs players always rated so much better than our own on here.
Diédhiou has only started 4 times for Bristol City this season and struggles to get a game before Chris Martin.
I am sure Bristol City fans would be over the moon to get Britt especially when a straight swap has been mentioned.

I doubt very much as a free agent he would struggle to find a new club.

Also with no transfer fee to be paid by a club wanting to sign him he could negotiate better terms.

Why give up 6 months x £35k a week or what ever he gets paid to get say £15k instead?
