Ashley fletcher

I've seen enough in Fletcher to believe there is a player in there. I don't think it is a coincidence that he has got a long contract with Watford. I suspect a few may be eating humble pie in a year or two. Or maybe not, maybe the missing part is between his ears and he never fulfils his promise. I'll keep an interested eye on him.

Why do people keep saying there is a player in there.... what are u seeing? 4 yrs of adapt failure and approaching his best years and I am still to see it.

He reminds me of a player on sensible soccer on professional mode who was not a star player. Ok running in a straight line but try to change direction and will lose it or run it out of play.

Runs under the ball, don’t really challenge, just pretends to, touch is awful, not good in the air, weaker than my 5 year old, can’t hold it up !!! Still struggling to see his merits
scored 1 in 3 at CF and held the ball up and created for others. He's a moderate championship CF. That's a more objective assessment.

He did harden up.. and the prem is softer than the champo.

But the players are better... and no matter how hard he may think he is he is still no better as a footballer...

I got a blue belt in martial arts 🥋 don’t mean I am still poo 💩 at Sunday league but would do better in the premiership since I washed my hands of my orange belt

I think he has the attributes to make it in the prem. someone said he was soft. I said he’d hardened up.

Possibly correct. Done it once over a short period of time, and perhaps that puts him as a moderate champo striker ... prob the peak of his ability
I think if the stars aligned he could have a stella 20-25 goal season in the champo, but he still won't get more than 4 the following year in the prem.

this has to be one of the strangest transfers I've ever seen! the bloke seems an absolute donkey. unbelievable.

In 4 years time when he's barely played there'll still be people on here saying 'there's a player there'. Probably the same people who thought Digard was the next Boateng.

Will be interested to see how he does in the PL, although I'd be surprised to see him regularly in their starting 11

Just asked a Watford fan what they think they seemed to be quite happy with this. They seem I think as they got him on a free they will loan him out so they can finance a move for Danjuma 😬

If that was the plan why didn’t they just not sign fletcher and go for Danjuma. Somehow I think that isn’t the plan 😂 silly Watford fans
