I'm not even sure you can be called a forward if you've scored 26 goals and you've turned 26. I imagine Aden Flint has scored more

Did he do enough previously , or has he got enough to make an impact ?
Desire ,workrate, ability, is what we need to improve, he is a risk.
McBurnie, Burke, similar in that they have under achieved, but I can see CW going for who he knows, or better hopefully.

His best season was 11 goals averaging a goal every 294 minutes. Which is a goal every 3.2 games. He has done okay for boro when fit.

I often agree with you Tom, but he scored 11 in 2019-20, from 43 league appearances. He got 1 in 4.
He's not passed 5 league goals in any other season for any club.
He's got 19 league goals in 92 appearances. He's a 1 in 5 lightweight.
He's a powderpuff player with zero presence who jumps lower than he stands.
He doesn't work hard, he hides in matches and goes missing with injury after a gust of wind.
Horrible fraud of a player.
But like everyone else, I wish him a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Here here. Watford will be paying him a lot more not to score goals than we could. I wish him a happy Christmas too.

I'm not that surprised by the goals, but Flint even has more league assists than Fletcher.

The only thing not suprising is that we turned a goal scoring CB in a a none scoring one. It's about standard for defenders / CMs and forwards
Hopefully the new gaffer can change this. I am pretty sure when we were linked with forwards for Jan no Boro fan thought 'yes.... Let's get Fletcher back?'

It’s sad to to see this type of stuff — I hope it’s not true and let’s face it if he’s not good for Watford then he’ll be no good for us either. One wonder goal doesn’t make a player.
