We are getting an annoying habit of losing very winnable games (Sheff wed/brum and Today).

That's said we've played better than the brum game. Just caught on a socket punch. We still look **** poor up top. Simply not enough goals.

We are still in the mix so it's not all doom and gloom👍

Oh I'm not particularly annoyed with us, just that excuse for a referee. And Blackburn can f*** off too.
 
We weren’t great today and like most champ games it’s fine margins but you can’t get decisions like that wrong. Tough to take but move on to Rotherham midweek
 
Don’t deserve to win either with that rank amateur defending from wood charging out, Spence losing his man and howson ball watching
 
Awful defending. Can see why Warnock wants a winger, Britt barely gets a touch and even when we are dominating possession we don’t get the ball into the box. I’m not Britts biggest fan but you have to at least get him the ball.
 
Spence was definitely at fault. He lost it running down blind alleys up top and never got back in.

You can see why we have a settled back 4 with Dijksteel. You simply can't trust a few of the Fringe players.

I thought Wood looked shaky but he's 18. That said he should have scored. If Hall isn't fit then we need another CB.
 
That Tav injury is worrying.

We are a striker, winger and cb away from being a top 2 side imo.

I hope Warnock is here next year and we can actually back him.

I’d honestly be trying to swap that Brizzle lad for Britt because at least he will fair better with how we play.
 
Surely some of our defenders have to defend in a game against the top scorers in the league? The full backs are playing like wingers, McNair is playing left midfield and now Wood is trying to dribble past three players on the half way line. They can’t do this when Fry is not playing. Blackburn could have easily had three with breakaways at the end!
 
Was more of a frustrating performance, than a poor one for me. I thought we were just about on top and getting a grip on things before that abysmal goal that was littered with errors by us all the way through the build up. Ho hum, onto Wednesday.

I actually turned it off when Blackburn scored - and I never, ever, ever do that. Honestly can't remember the last time I stopped watching a Boro game before the final whistle, no matter what the score. But today, as soon as the ball hit the net I had 100% confidence that we'd lost. Doesn't seem like I missed anything in that last half hour.
