Articles for this website

Several months ago I asked if there were any people interested in writing some articles for this website. There was a really good response at the time. Now we finally have an article section available - look up to the top. Would anyone care to have a crack at it? I will help if you need it.
As a guide I always say try and write as you would write a post. And I would say in general you don't need to write too much either. Unless you want to.
Several short paragraphs is usually fine. It is 500 words for a fanzine page on the web it can be 3-500 words for the equivalent.
There are no rules either. Except trying not to use other peoples photos or indeed other peoples quotes I suppose.
If anyone wants to think about giving it a go then you can just click on my name and send it to me.
Am up for anyone writing a preview of Rotherham (tomorrow) and actually reviewing the game. I don't feel like I can review too often because I would normally be writing about going to the match etc and my views on things from the away end.
Anyway. Should we start out this week?
The kind of things you said you might be interested in writing were - nostalgic pieces or views of the Boro from your home etc. But whatever you reckon - why don't we make a start?

Plesse have a think about this and obviously the fanzine is also open for any fan to write about Boro.
Just this month I was contacted by someone that had their first article published in fmttm. They are now a producer for a national tv news netwiork.
I`m up for that Rob.
Whats the brief?

Here is your preview - I will also post a thread about this, unless you want to - the link below is a bitly one so we can see how many follow it.

Yes, please do write a review as well - and one of the annoying features of the software means there is no way we can find of removing my name as author. But I have made it very clear in the actual article you are the author. Please do write a preview Otto for Norwich - that would be great. And I am quite sure we could easily host more than one match preview.

sure thing boss

I’m happy to have a stab at it - maybe some random player profiles from the past? A bit about their Boro career and elsewhere?
Hi WeeGord that would be great. I made a note when you expressed an interest, previously. It does sound like an interesting idea.

To be honest Rob, I'm happy to write anything really. Not saying it'll be much cop but happy to write about old players, different era's at the Boro. Might have to try and steal some knowledge from @Erimus74 mind, there's not much he doesn't know about the Boro!

Rob you could just add the author to the title of the thread. For example "Middlesbrough vs Rotherham - Match Preview 27th January - Kick off 19:00 by newyddion"
