Some game this, Arsenal's defence has been shocking
It had to be a penalty, I couldn't believe it took so much time to think about, time I spent shouting at Gary Neville :)I don't really have a problem with the penalty.
Natural or not, his hand definitely blocked a direct shot on goal.
I'd have more sympathy for the natural argument if it had been a cross or going away from the goal.
But the law says the following:I don't really have a problem with the penalty.

It's the Ange Postecoglou effect. The bloke is a geniusSpurs seem to play better without Kane. I think maybe they were too reliant on Kane, maybe a case of pass the ball to him and he'll do something, now the way they play all players have to get involved.
I agree. Romero made his body naturally bigger not unnaturally bigger so should not have been a penalty according to the letter of the law. VAR useless again. But the law says the following:

So I don’t think it’s unnatural for Romero to have his arm slightly to his side for balance. If he’s stood still on the six yard line with arms spread out wide, I accept that. But he’s moving, and uses his arms for balance.
Handball has always been a difficult rule - ever since I've watched foot all it seems 50:50 on every decision despite rule clarifications.I agree. Romero made his body naturally bigger not unnaturally bigger so should not have been a penalty according to the letter of the law. VAR useless again.
