Arsenal say several clubs after Balogun.

I'd have him back, play him every week so he gets into a groove and lay to his strengths and he'll get 20 goals in the championship.

I always thought he saw his spell here as just “doing his time” in the championship, before getting back to the comfort of the prem

Think it was a bit of a reality check for him.

If have him back. He will be a very good footballer, the question is, will it be this season? If we had to pick up a 40k salary then no.

Not sure why we didnt play him more, clearly the best striker we had last season. Fully expect he will hit 20 goals next season in a decent side

No Championship club can afford £45k/week, except those with para payments.
£45k per week is just over £2m for the season. If we bought someone for £2m and paid them £10k per week then it would cost more. If they were a dud we are stuck with them and might not get any money back on them.

I presume players like Ikpeazu and Akpom have cost us that.

Yeh I was a bit disappointed last season too, but I dare say if he came back he’d know what to expect, probably use to tippy tappy with premier league training. Championship is a bit rougher. Also probably thinks he has a point to prove if he wants to be a regular for Arsenal.

Would be happy if he was back but only if we had someone like Armstrong with him. See what happens anyway, what do I know ha

The problem is Arsenal will not be happy at him being a third choice though as they are loaning him to get game time.

Nah, completely underwhelming impact last year . Personally I didn’t see a footballer in there . Could be the next Josh McCechran,

I didn't see much in him tbh. It just feels like the step up to adult football is a little too early for him, however his assist against derby was beautiful
