Was surprised at how awful he was against us in the last game of the season. Wasn’t like him to put in one of his more regular performances against us! Awful footballer, if you can call a a player like that a footballer

Quite happy it wasn’t us. I wasn’t really delighted at the prospect of Moore so if we then signed a 28 year league 1 striker instead who has only really had 1 decent season It would of been a bit of bummer. As Col says it was more than likely just paper talk to drum up interest this link
 
All the names mentioned are average champo or less strikers - its a gamble and a hope they click in a specific group of players and management style... bit like Brucies team... non would be classed as prem quality but gelled and clicked as a team... until they come we will never know. The days of the 20k a week players are gone for the moment. The days of the grafters and down to earth players are here , thank goodness we need the break.
