Are we being left behind?

There's only really Darling I'd have taken out of those moves. It's easy to panic in the close season, but every season I'd say the majority of the main transfer moves happen from mid-July onwards.

Anyway I'd far rather we take the time and get the right bodies in, with the right quality, than rush to just fill squad positions. We have some very specific requirements rather than a need for just squad positions to fill. We need some pace and physicality in the squad, and we need some first teamers who will improve our first XI.
Which one darling?

We have officially been left behind … the EFL have retracted all of our fixtures and our squad has been deemed not fit for purpose 😭

If only we could have signed 20 players in 10 days

Curse you Kieran Scott

Yeah, and we absolutely won't be self-sufficient.

No club in the Championship is.

The finances in football just don't work anymore, losses are a fact of life.
Why are they a troll?

Just because you disagree with someone doesn’t make them a troll. Not a member over there but seem to recall a few posters being spot on previously, not like the poster who had players training with us before a fee and medical….they went to to Wolves.

It's not about me disagreeing with them, I genuinely think it's a troll.

There's a specific person that joins up to that forum with a new account every single year when the transfer window opens and starts pretending to have inside knowledge, the mask always slips eventually and he gets banned, but he always comes back.

I think he used to post on here as Riverside Rifle or something to that effect, a very sad individual.

That account was only created in January, and has suddenly started claiming plenty of inside knowledge, it might all be a coincidence and this is a totally unrelated person, but it fits with the previous pattern.

It would be useful to get some permanent signings in the next 10 days. Mansfield on July 19th is the first major friendly.

Most loan signings tend to appear later in the Summer as clubs take a while to release them for loan, and there will be probably be 3 or 4.

Also known as Quicksilvera on here.

Alot of transfer activity has already taken place, i was hoping we'd be in for the below:

Ethan Galbraith (off to Swansea)
Emil Riise (signed for Brizzle)
Thelo Aasgaard (off to Rangers)
Kaine Kesler-Hayden (signed for Cov)
Harry Darling (signed for Norwich)
Kwame Puko (signed for QPR)
Sorba Thomas (signed for Stoke)

Appreciate it's still early July, hoping there is quite a bit of movement in the next 10 days, we are massively short of quality at the moment.
I don't think so...according to local news media none of those players are on our list. I would have liked to see some movement already though.

He went to Wolves....eventually.
He signed for Celta Vigo and played there for two seasons first.

We just seem to be slow in everything. STs going on sale, kit supply, bringing in a manager, bringing in players.
Just a few years ago we were bigger and stronger than Brentford, Forest, Brighton, Bournemouth, look where they are now. Light years ahead. In 20 transfer windows we have recruited well on only 2 occasions.

Historically we are bigger than three of those teams, but it depends what you mean by 'just a few years ago'.
These are the number of seasons since we last finished above them:

Brentford - 7
Brighton - 9
Bournemouth - 12
