Billy could you do me a favour and look for some stats regarding the situation in Florida. I know the cases are on the rise but a friend of mine who works over there has been told they count the antibody tests included in the total.

I know the cases are on the rise but the deaths don't seem to be yet or I cannot find any up to date evidence.

The numbers of deaths are rising in Florida. The frightening thing is ICU beds in short supply in the South / South West of the States.

According to the Florida Department of Health website, it is only the PCR and antigen tests which are included in the positive case numbers, not the serology (antibody) tests. That would make sense as, presuming the serology testing is undertaken on a random sample basis, it would be impossible to exclude the possibility of double counting people who have already tested positive using the antigen tests.

In any event, the total number of cases in Florida now stands at 254,511. If you look at the serology testing data (link below), there are only 12,002 individuals who have so far tested positive for antibodies. Therefore, even if they were included in the overall case number (which they aren't), they wouldn't explain why there are currently more than 10,000 new cases each day.

One positive tests in North / South Tees hospital districts for second day running.
Typo again?
No positive tests yesterday but 1 positive today for the 2nd day running?
