R&C and Hambleton are approaching double previous Pillar 1 figures, whilst Boro, Stockton and Hartlepool are 50% higher.

Redcar & Cleveland was included on the list of LAs that had experienced a weekly increase in cases (and therefore speculated as potential local lockdown areas), which someone in government leaked to the media. However, the Council put out a statement saying this was because they had gone from zero cases to one.

That was before today's data release though.

Great news that. We're certainly getting there. I asked at the hospital how things were going when being treated on Wednesday and 'getting back to normal' was the response from behind the mask.

The hand cleaning and mask distribution is being maintained on entry and the spread within the hospital is coming down.
