The 3 further details obviously happened over the the course of the weekend. Do parts of the hospital with regards to information reporting close down over the weekend?
Because of this lag in reporting people get a bee in their bonnet when the figures then rise every Tuesday or Wednesday.

1 extra infection for my area today, first on about 3 days? 5 in total since last Friday.

I'd say it has pretty much gone round here then.

We're below the national average on Teesside and North Yorkshire part of South Tees Trust. But the eight positive tests is unlikely to include every infected person. From today, everyone with symptoms is required to get tested, which may increase measured numbers of infections but hopefully those people isolate and don't propogate the virus.

Nearly 7% of the population are estimated to have had the infection (in the community). PS that is a test that probably reflects where we were two weeks ago in order for antibodies to be detected. Although the rate of increase will not be rising as fast as it was at the end of April, the peak time for antibody detection.
