Are finally going to see the real Belgium

De Bruyne is the best midfielder in the world for me, I expect him to pop up with something.

This, I think they’ve missed the boat. Too many of their better players past their peak now.

Hazard and Lukaku are overweight, lazy and always injured

Alderweirald, Witsel and Vertongan are old and passed there best.

They've missed the boat and underachieved during the golden generation era when they were ranked #1 but failed to match the ranking. Now called the bronze generation by their supporters 🙂
 
Even though that’s not given.
Big changes needed second half. Get rid of the back 3, get batshuayi off, get Hazard off, get Onana off.
They must have another striker, batshuayi is so poor as a lone striker. Doesn’t hold the ball up and his movement is awful.

Belgium are carrying a…….manager (!) in Martinez.
Never been able to bring a team spirit and tactical awareness to bring this talented group of players together
Dropping tielmans ? Really ???

Belgium, like England will go out as soon as they face someone decent.

I’m surprised he’s been given as long as he has. They’ve gone from looking like a bunch of star players but not a team, to a bunch of former star players but not a team.

De bruyanes body language on the field is deafening (!). Tielmans is on but none of them really believe in the coach…..which is….quite possibly…..an issue 🤣

Another sign there….de bruyane about to take a throw and lukaku whispering in his ear seemingly giving him instructions or information….subtle signs the coach is toast and has little influence anymore

I don’t get the Martinez obsession either.

Henry Is no 2 as well don’t forget he won’t be cheap either
