Archer and McGree

Archer looks half the player he was earlier in the season. His work rate doesn’t seem to be there. Love for him to up his game. A lot of players having average days.

That's the thing. Too small to hold it up and brink other into play like gyokores so needed help or alternative when plan a isn't working

He was an absolute menace, making himself a threat from any ball in his direction
 
Marked out of the game. That simple. And they had Akpoms number also.
Stronger players throughout the side.
At least it saved the fans a pointless journey to Wembley as Luton would have done the same number on us.
This team lacks a bit of backbone atm, particularly with Howson missing.
 
Every time he's had the ball he's not been able to sort his feet out. Gets it nicked off him or just runs into dead ends. Really suits the game when there is space for him to run into but teams sitting deep he can be ineffectual.
 
That is why archer is championship level only, flitters in and out of games and that's the reason why he won't make villa's first team.

Mcgree was shocking tonight also offered very little.

Hope Villas view echoes yours. I'd love to have him back next season, along with Ramsey who is the player that really makes us tick.
 
They sat incredibly deep to be fair. We needed to draw them out but seemed to prefer playing wide and crossing. Archer left playing for scraps.
 
Archers looked lost for a couple of games now

Not going to speculate why, he has ability, he`s showed that

Never heard McGrees name mentioned all game 🤷‍♂️
