In the Middlesbrough town post office yesterday & this oldish chap just walked past people standing in the queue & started coughing, no hand over his mouth nothing & continued walking on, with not a thought in the world, some of the people in the queue were horrified

Nope. On the Isle of Arran at the moment, with the ferry having been out of action for most of the week, so we're all pretty isolated. However, still saw a woman yesterday wearing a full face mask.

no, if you have the virus, you go into isolation.

the concern is that no body really knows if they have the virus or not (apart from those tested or diagnosed as having it - (see tom hanks and his missus), anyone could have it and not know due to the incubation period.

wearing a mask is a basic precation, it also stops you touching your mouth with your hands.
