Anyone know where Mark Drury was

Ok, works for the club's academy and constantly snipes at the club's non-academy keepers.
Maddison is clearly conflicted. How can he criticise club personnel. Not his fault he should never have been put in that position. He needs to drop the Tav, Wingy and Fletch banter though

Yes, but he accepted the academy job and chose not to drop the Tees job as a result.

There are too many “Second balls” for me. We need to get Bernie back alongside the commentator we had on Saturday. (y)

Weird thing radio broadcasting. I've met Drury a few times and he's a really nice genuine bloke but I can see why his commentary rubs people up the wrong way, it comes across a bit smug and sarky and self-important.

Not sure what it is, might just be the sound of his voice over two hours or maybe he's a bit opinionated and trying to be funny for the guy who's supposed to be the describer, and the other guy is meant to do the colourful stuff.

The new guy's way better. Sure Tees will transition him in if they keep getting good feedback.

Doesnt or didnt the stand in (rob law?) do pools matches or has one of the mattys got that job now? I remember him covering that pools game (Dover at home) last season that made the headlines for all the wrong reasons and thought he did a very good job of describing what was going on (racist abuse)

Yes, Rob isn't new at all. He has done Pools commentary for some time and also been touchline reporter at Boro games.
They are colleagues and friends. Rob, Mark and Paul Addison all take turns in presenting sports programming at Tees as they have done for many years.
